Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago are locked 0-0 at half-time in the final of the CFU Caribbean Cup in Montego Bay.

The Reggae Boyz ended the first half with 55 per cent of ball possession.

The final was earlier plunged into uncertainty as Trinidad and Tobago had threatened to boycott the game over unpaid salaries and arrears.

However, the issue was settled well before game time.

Winning the 2014 final will secure a major landmark for either team, as, for the very first time the Caribbean Cup winners will get an automatic berth into the prestigious Centennial Cup America in 2016.

Both Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago have already qualified for the CONCACAF Gold Cup to be played in the United States next summer, alongside Cuba and Martinique.
