CRICKET: Benn in Barbados' squad for second round match against Jamaica

Published:Wednesday | November 19, 2014 | 11:27 PM

Experienced West Indies left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn has been included in Barbados Pride's 13-man squad for their second round match against Jamaica Franchise in the WICB Four-Day Professional Cricket League.

The match will be played at the Windward Club ground.

Benn missed the drawn rain-hit match against Trinidad & Tobago Red Force in Port-of-Spain because of a niggling injury.

Guyana Jaguars and the Jamaica franchise are the early leaders following the opening round of matches.

Both teams won their opening round fixture inside three days, but the Jaguars sit atop the table on 17 points, one ahead of Jamaica Franchise.

The second round starts on Friday.
