KINGSTON, Jamaica:

Jamaica College (JC) has retained the ISSA/LIME Manning Cup title.

The Old Hope Road-based school defeated Charlie Smith 2-1 in extra time in the final at the National Stadium a short while ago.

Raffique Bryan scored the winning goal to hand JC its 26th Manning Cup title.

The all-important goal, which came from a freekick, was scored in the first period of extra time.

Charlie Smith had pushed the game into extra time courtesy of a beautiful strike from Bebeto McDonald in the 78th minute.

He picked up the ball just outside the 18-yard box and rifled a powerful shot over the head of the goalkeeper to cancel JC’s 61st minute lead.

JC took the lead through star player Junior Flemmings.

Charlie Smith played the entire period of extra time with 10 players after Lennon Cameron was ejected in the dying seconds of full-time.
