KINGSTON, Jamaica:

Telecommunications company LIME says it is reviewing its decision to charge customers who receive printed bills.

The charge was slated to take effect on January 1, 2015.

LIME had announced the shift in a bid to encourage customers to access electronic bills.

The company also said it had decided to exempt customers 65 years old and over from being charged for receiving paper bills.

According to LIME, the exemption also applies to customers who sign up for electronic bills.

Subscribers wishing to sign up for eBilling must register on the company's website.
