Cocaine valued more than $2m found in May Pen

Detectives attached to the Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division yesterday seized a quantity of cocaine estimated to be valued $2.2 million.



The seizure was made in Clarendon Park in May Pen, Clarendon.



The police say about 10 a.m. employees at an establishment found a plastic parcel with cocaine and summoned them.



The police say on their arrival, the illicit drug, which weighed approximately two pounds, was seized.



They say no one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
