Phone technician convicted of lottery scamming to be sentenced tomorrow
St Elizabeth phone technician, 32-year-old Kurt Taylor, is to be sentenced tomorrow on lottery scamming charges.
Taylor was yesterday found guilty when he appeared before the St Elizabeth Circuit Court.
Taylor, who lives at the Jerusalem Housing Scheme in Santa Cruz, St Elizabeth, was held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 during an operation by the St Elizabeth Proactive Investigations Unit and other Police personnel.
It is reported that about 1 p.m., members of the Unit and other police personnel executed a search warrant on premises occupied by Taylor.
During the search lottery scamming paraphernalia were found in Taylor's bedroom.
He was subsequently arrested and charged.
