Phone technician convicted of lottery scamming to be sentenced tomorrow

‎St Elizabeth phone technician, 32-year-old Kurt Taylor, is to be sentenced tomorrow on lottery scamming charges.



Taylor was yesterday found guilty ‎when he appeared before the St Elizabeth Circuit Court.‎



Taylor, who lives at the Jerusalem Housing Scheme in Santa Cruz, St Elizabeth, ‎was held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 during an operation by the St Elizabeth Proactive Investigations Unit and other Police personnel. 



It is reported that about 1 p.m., members of the Unit and other police personnel executed a search warrant on premises occupied by Taylor. 



During the search lottery scamming paraphernalia were found in Taylor's bedroom. ‎



He was subsequently arrested and charged.‎
