Phone technician gets five years in prison for lottery scamming

St Elizabeth phone technician, 32-year-old Kurt Taylor, has been sentenced five years in prison at hard labour on lottery scamming charges.



Taylor, of Jerusalem Housing Scheme, Santa Cruz, St Elizabeth was today sentenced in the St Elizabeth Circuit Court for knowingly possessing identity information.



He pleaded guilty ‎on Wednesday.



Taylor was held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 during an operation at his house by the St Elizabeth Proactive Investigations Unit and other Police personnel. 



During the search, lottery scamming paraphernalia were found in Taylor's bedroom. ‎
