Rain pushes fifth ODI between Sri Lanka, England into reserve day

The fifth One-Day International between hosts Sri Lanka and England will resume tomorrow with the visitors to reply after rain stopped play in Pallekele today.



England will need 240 runs to win the match after they bowled out Sri Lanka for 239 off 49 over.



Fast bowler Chris Woakes ended with a six-wicket haul.



Woakes returned six for 47, including five for 24 off his last three overs, to end Sri Lanka's innings with one over remaining.



Kumar Sangakkara top scored for Sri Lanka with 91 for his fourth straight half-century of the series.

Sri Lanka lead the seven-match series 3-1.
