Rogue cops arrested after attempted robbery

The Manchester police have arrested two of their colleagues from May Pen, Clarendon following an attempted robbery last night.




Reports reaching The Gleaner-Power 106 News Centre are that about 11 p.m. Saturday the rogue policemen, who were driving an unmarked vehicle with flashing lights, stopped a private motor car driven by a man with two female passengers aboard.



The rogue cops reportedly ordered the female passengers out of the vehicle. One of the policemen then got into the car with the man and ordered him to drive, while the other policeman followed behind in the unmarked car.



It is reported that the rogue policemen also robbed the man of J$10,000.



The women called the police and the vehicle was intercepted several minutes later by police on patrol.



The rogue lawmen were arrested and are being questioned.
