Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) has suspended the printing of driver's licences at its Montego Bay Revenue Centre because the necessary equipment are not working properly.

‎Meanwhile, the TAJ‎ says motorists may still visit the Centre to renew their licenses, pay the fee and use their receipt along with the expired licences.

"These licences will be printed as soon as the equipment is available," said a TAJ spokesperson in a release this afternoon.

The TAJ says motorists will be contacted and directed when to collect their licences.

Meanwhile, the TAJ says it is working to resolve the matter in the shortest possible time.
