Jamaica's Sunshine Girls will have an easy passage to the second round at next year’s Netball World Cup in Sydney based on the preliminary round schedule.

The Sunshine Girls have been drawn in Pool B alongside archrivals England, Scotland and Samoa.

The preliminary round comprises four pools and the top two teams from each pool will advance to the second round.

The world’s top two teams Australia and New Zealand have been drawn in Pool A with Caribbean teams Trinidad and Tobago, and Barbados.

Pool C includes Malawi, South Africa, Singapore, and Sri Lanka, while Pool D has Fiji, Wales, Uganda, and Zambia.

Jamaica and England will start their countdown to the Netball World Cup when they contest a three-match series in Kingston next month.

The 2015 Netball World Cup runs from August 7 to 16.
