BITU seeks labour ministry's intervention in Fly Jamaica wage dispute

The Bustamante Industrial Trade Union (BITU) has sought the intervention of the Ministry of Labour as it presses Fly Jamaica to begin wage negotiations.



BITU President Senator Kaval Gayle says in August the union won bargaining rights to represents flight attendants.



According to him, since then the BITU has been making attempts to meet with the management of Fly Jamaica but to no avail.



The BITU president says the union and the workers are frustrated.
