Road deaths climb as woman dies in Hanover crash

With four days before the end of the year, the number of persons killed on the nation’s roadways this year now stands at 317.

Yesterday 20-year-old Tamisha Saunders, of Sandy Bay in Hanover, died in a motor vehicle crash in the parish.

It’s reported that Saunders was a passenger in a motor vehicle travelling towards Lucea.

The police say the driver lost control of the vehicle which overturned in a ditch.

Saunders and the driver were taken to hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.
