FOOTBALL: Arnett Gardens stun Waterhouse in Monday Night match

KINGSTON, Jamaica:

Arnett Gardens will enter the New Year on 32 points with leaders Montego Bay United following an away 3-1 victory over Waterhouse in the Monday Night fixture of the Red Stripe Premier League.




The game was played at the Drewsland Stadium.



Leon Strickland led Arnett Gardens to victory with a double strike after Waterhouse had taken a 44th-minute lead through Hughan Gray.



Dicoy Williams equalized for Arnett Gardens a minute later, while Strickland got his goals in the 55th and 58th minutes.



Montego Bay United, the defending champions, are leading the points table courtesy of a better goal difference than Arnett Gardens.



Waterhouse remains in third spot on 28 points, four points behind Montego Bay United and Arnett Gardens.
