The police have charged a man in relation to October’s shooting incident in Rockfort, Kingston, in which three people were killed and four others injured.

The Major Investigations Taskforce (MIT) says 32-year-old Roger Lee Campbell, otherwise called ‘duppy’, was charged yesterday.

He is reportedly from Beechwood Avenue in St. Andrew.

Lee had been listed as a person of interest following the shootings, and the MIT says he was apprehended last week and interviewed by investigators on Tuesday.

The police reported that patrons were at a bar along St. John's Road in Rockfort on the evening of October 20, when a group of gunmen pounced on them and opened fire indiscriminately.

Seven persons were shot in that attack, which killed three.

In a reprisal attack, two persons were also shot.
