High school marred by sex scandal begins search for new acting principal
The chairman of the central Jamaica-based high school whose acting principal was at the centre of a sex scandal says efforts will now be made to find a replacement.
The acting principal yesterday tendered his resignation.
The letter was submitted while the board members were meeting.
The resignation took effect on December 31, 2014.
Parents and students gathered outside the school's gate yesterday morning in anticipation of the outcome of the meeting.
The board chairman says steps will now be made to sensitise the school population regarding the issue.
