Sulieman Benn struck again for the West Indies this morning as fifth and final day of the third and final test got underway against the South Africans in Cape Town, but the Caribbean side could not avoid defeat.

Losing this match also means that the Windies have lost the series 2-0.

Resuming on nine for 1, South Africa lost Francois du Plessis caught Blackwood off the bowling of Benn for 14 runs in the first session of play.

However, the South African would press on to reach their target of 124 runs without any further loss.

They ended 124 for two.

Man of the Match was AB de Villers for his first innings 143.

The South African captain Hashim Amla was voted man of the series.

Final scores: West Indies 329 & 215. South Africa in reply: 421 & 124 for two.

Both teams now turn their attention to the Twenty/20 series which begins on Friday.

All-rounder Dwayne Bravo and Andre Russell will join the West Indies team in South Africa for the two T20's.

They have just departed Australia’s Big Bash Twenty/20 league with their Melbourne Renegades team at the bottom of the points table.
