Published:Friday | January 9, 2015 | 2:22 PM

The tributes continue to flow in memory racehorse owner and trainer Gregory Bucknor.

The veteran trainer has lost his long battle with cancer at the age of 58.

The management and staff of Caymanas Track Limited and the president of the Jamaica Racehorse Trainers' Association, Vin Edwards are among those expressing condolences.

President of the United Racehorse Trainers' Association, Dale Murphy and head of the Jamaica Racehorse Owners' Association, Laurence Heffes have also expressed regret.

Racing was a family tradition for Bucknor, who followed in the footsteps of his late father, G.A. 'Sarge' Bucknor in whose memory a trophy race for overnight allowance horses is run annually.
