Scotia exec agrees with Government’s economic programme

A senior executive with one of the country’s leading financial institutions has come out in support of Government’s economic programme.

Chief Executive Officer of Scotia Group Jamaica Limited Jacqueline Sharp, says the programme is facilitating growth and raising Jamaica’s investment profile internationally.

Sharp predicts that the country is poised for growth.

She also praised the government for its commitment to executing the economic programme agreed with the International Monetary Fund and commended Phillips for what she said was his strong leadership.

The Scotiabank CEO says these efforts have raised the country’s investment profile on the international landsacpe.
