Search and rescue teams are looking for at least three people reported missing after a minibus plunged into the sea in northwestern St Vincent this morning.

Most of the 17 passengers on the bus were students.

Police say the accident occurred in the Rockgutter community.

Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves told NBC Radio in St Vincent and the Grenadines that the coast guard is working to find the students who are still missing.

Gonsalves says the Throne Speech and his budget speech, which were scheduled for this afternoon, have been pushed back to tomorrow.
