American cruise ship passengers missing

Published:Tuesday | January 13, 2015 | 2:17 PM

The Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate two Americans who were passengers on a cruise ship, which docked at the Falmouth Cruise Ship Terminal in Trelawny yesterday.

They are 42-year-old Shelby Person and 45-year-old Tyrone Rideout, both of Weeping Willow, Maryland in the United States of America.

The police say information received is that both Person and Rideout disembarked the vessel shortly after its arrival in the island about 10 o'clock to go on an unknown excursion.

The police further say the men have not been seen or heard from since.

They say police personnel conducted checks at various hospitals and the surrounding areas but their efforts proved futile.
