Jamaica's Under-20 football team will be hunting a crucial victory against Panama in their FIFA CONCACAF Under-20 Championship today.

The Young Reggae Boyz tackle Group A leaders Panama in the feature of a triple-header at the National Stadium at 8 p.m.

In the opening game at three o'clock, Guatemala will battle Trinidad and Tobago and Aruba will face the United States.

Following a 1-0 loss to Guatemala on Sunday night at the National Stadium, the Jamaicans, who are struggling in the tournament, need to start winning.

The top team from each group advances to the World Cup.

The second and third teams in the groups will battle for the other two spots, so Jamaica are in danger of not making it through.

Panama, which edged USA 1-0 in the second game three days ago, are currently in pole position on the maximum six points.

They are ahead of Trinidad and Tobago and Guatemala, which both have four, and Jamaica, USA and Aruba, sitting at the bottom, with a point each.

Jamaica's assistant coach, Lenworth Hyde says his team have no alternative but to win today's game.
