The senior Reggae Boyz will kick off their 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign with a home and away game between August 31 and September 8 next year against a team to be decided.

By virtue of their ranking last August, the Reggae Boyz were drawn to bow into action at the third stage of the CONCACAF qualifying tournament.

This is based on the fact that they were ranked seventh in CONCACAF last August according to the FIFA monthly rankings.

Haiti who was ranked 8th in CONCACAF at that time will also start their campaign at the third stage.

Trinidad and Tobago, who were ranked sixth will bow into action at the fourth stage, which is the CONCACAF semifinal round.

Incidentally after a run of disappointing performances at the international level, the Reggae Boyz was ranked 85 on the FIFA world list last August while Trinidad and Tobago were rated 80th.
