The FIFA Development Officer to the South-East Caribbean, Howard McIntosh, is to host a group of delegates from the governing body at a FIFA development workshop from January 17-18 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.

The workshop is being staged as part of the development strategy by FIFA for the advancement of the game in the CONCACAF region.

The group will present an overview of 2014 and provide updated reports from each CONCACAF member state on the current status of their programmes.

The workshop will also serve as a session to assess and agree on strategies for the continued development of the game of football in CONCACAF for 2015.

The group will then travel to Western Jamaica, where they will attend the 2015 CONCACAF Under-20 Championships Group A match between Jamaica and the United States, at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.

The FIFA delegation will arrive in the island today.
