CRICKET: England thrash India in ODI

Steven Finn and James Anderson led England to a nine-wicket thrashing of India in their triangular One-Day international series in Brisbane today.

Finn took five for 33, and Anderson, back after a knee injury, took four for 18, as India were bowled out for 153.

Stuart Binny on 44 and Mahendra Singh Dhoni 34, were the leading scorers for India.

Ian Bell then made an unbeaten 88 and James Taylor 56 not out in a stand of 131, as England chased their target inside 28 overs.

England, who receives a bonus point for the victory, are second in the table behind Australia, whom they meet on Friday.
