FOOTBALL: Under-20 Boyz take on Aruba tonight

Published:Wednesday | January 21, 2015 | 3:31 PM

Jamaica’s Under-20 footballers will be playing for pride when they take on Aruba in their final match in the CONCACAF FIFA Under-20 Championships today.

The match will be played at the Catherine Hall Stadium in Montego Bay starting at 8 o’clock.

The junior Reggae Boyz have lost three straight matches in the tournament.

They are therefore out of contention for one of the two spots from group to this year's World Cup tournament to be held in New Zealand.

The Jamaicans are second from bottom in the standings with one point from four matches.

However, Jamaica’s Under-20 head coach Theodore ‘Tappa’ Whitmore says they are hoping to end their campaign on a winning note.
