Wolmer's Boys' principal Dr Walton Small, says the school is in negotiations with national Under-17 coach Andrew Edwards, to fill their coaching vacancy for this year's Manning Cup season.

Dr Small says administrators have interviewed a number of coaches.

However, he says Edwards fits the school's profile, and the negotiations with him have gone well so far.

The coaching position became vacant, after Ludlow Bernard resigned at the end of last season.

Bernard was head coach of Wolmer's for more than five years.
