Bar Association, Opposition react to removal of security for judges

The Jamaican Bar Association (JBA) says judges have greater need for personal security than many Government members.



Speaking this morning on Cliff Hughes Online, JBA president, Donovan Walker, said it appears National Security Minister Peter Bunting did not consult with the Chief Justice before making his announcement.



Opposition Spokesperson on Justice, Senator Alexander Williams, who also appeared on the programme, has asserted that judges are very exposed to risks.
