No charges yet in Manchester drug bust
The police in Manchester are yet to lay charges against two men who were held in connection with the seizure of more than 2,000 pounds of compressed ganja.
The men, whose identities are being withheld, have been in custody since the seizure on Wednesday.
It is reported that members of the Area 3 Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division were conducting an operation on the Spur Tree road when they signalled a blue Hyundai motor van with two male passengers to stop.
The police say the vehicle was searched and 2,168 pounds of compressed ganja was found inside the vehicle.
The men were then taken into custody.
