Man in custody in connection to 14-year-old Westmoreland teen's death
Police investigators are expected this week to question the man who was taken into custody in connection to the murder of 14-year-old Westmoreland schoolgirl Sontoya Campbell.
The police say the man turned himself in last week Thursday in the company of his lawyer.
His name is being withheld pending further investigations by the police.
Campbell's decomposing body was found in a garbage bag last week Tuesday at the Cabarita River bridge in Westmoreland.
The police say a cord was tied around her neck and her feet bound.
A post mortem reportedly revealed that the 14 year old schoolgirl died as a result of strangulation.
She was also pregnant.
