KINGSTON, Jamaica:

The St Ann Parish Council is again making changes to the flow of traffic in St Ann's Bay as it tries to find a system which suits all who use the roadways.

It had made several changes in late 2014 and said they would be gazetted.

However, the Parish Council says there continues to be concern about the current system and at a meeting last Friday a decision was taken to review it.

It says it hopes the new arrangements will suit most persons and in turn provide a more orderly town with regard to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

The changes are expected to take effect tomorrow at 6 a.m. and will remain in place for a two-week trial period after which there will be a review of their impact.

As a result of the changes a number of streets will only accommodate one-way traffic.
