Soldier accused of defrauding bank gets bail extension
Thirty-one-year-old soldier, Marlon Davids, who is accused of defrauding a commercial bank, had his bail extended yesterday when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court.
His co-accused, 31-year-old engineer Marvin Gray, was further remanded.
Both men are charged with Conspiracy to Defraud.
They were ordered to return to court on February 17.
It is alleged that in September of 2014, Gray used Davis' ATM card to defraud the National Commercial Bank of Two Hundred and Seventy One Thousand Dollars.
A report was made to police and following investigations both men were arrested and charged.
