Abducted UWI student found in St Ann

KINGSTON, Jamaica:

The Kingston Central Police are reporting that the 20-year-old female student who was abducted about 8:30 this morning has been found.




Commanding Officer for Kingston Central, Michael Scott, says the car was intercepted at Drax Hall in St Ann and the abductor arrested.



Earlier commanding officer for Kingston Central, Superintendent Michael Scott said the student was in a white Honda CRV parked outside the St Aloysius Primary on Duke Street.



The superintendent said the girl's mother had parked the car outside the school's entrance and had taken two other children onto the school's compound when the incident happened.



The man reportedly went into the vehicle and drove it off.
