Manchester woman held with forged CARICOM Skills Certificate for court

A Manchester woman, who was held at the Norman Manley International Airport with a forged CARICOM Skills Certificate is to appear before the Corporate Area Criminal Court next Friday.



26-year-old Alicia Fowler of Bethel Street, Mandeville was charged by the Counter-Terrorism and Organized Crime Branch (C-TOC) February 9 for forgery and uttering forged documents.



Reports are that last Monday, Fowler was attempting to board a plane destined for Trinidad and Tobago when the forged document was found during a routine security check.



A report was then made to C-TOC, following which Fowler was arrested and charged.
