Classes are expected to be held as usual tomorrow at Lannaman Kindergarten School in Richmond Park, St Andrew.

That’s the word from the school’s principal, Trudy Hardy, after fire of unknown origin yesterday destroyed the school.

It is reported that shortly after 10 a.m. yesterday persons saw smoke coming from the school, which is located metres from the Half-Way Tree fire station.

Hardy says she was informed that the fire started from a mattress in the school that houses 68 students.
