The UK-based Privy Council has ruled that the National Commercial Bank was right when it made the decision to close the accounts of investment club, Olint.

Lawyers for NCB went to the Privy Council after the Court of Appeal ruled in favour of the investment club in November last year.

The ruling means that NCB can now go ahead and close the accounts of the troubled investment club.
