The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) said the Hilton Kingston Hotel would withdraw the lawsuit against the federation for breach of contract.

The hotel filed a lawsuit against the JFF and its president, Captain Horace Burrell for more than $1 million in outstanding payments.

Burrell, the head of the JFF, was being held liable for what the hotel called breach of its contract for a function held on the premises of the Hotel in September of 2006.

During that time, the Crenston Boxhill led administration was in charge of the JFF.

Captain Burrell said the decision was made following a meeting with senior managers of the hotel.

Efforts to get a comment from the Hilton Kingston Hotel yesterday were unsuccessful.
