Boyz begin to train for Costa Rica

A local-based squad of 24 players will enter camp today to prepare for the February 6 friendly international football game against Costa Rica.

The camp, to be conducted by Technical Director Rene Simoes, will run until February 1.

Among the local-based squad are nine first time invitees.

They are defenders Andre Darby, Craig White and Lance Laing, midfielders Ricardo Cousin, Dwayne Phidd, Hugh Howell and Eric Vernon and strikers Navian Boyd and Keammar Daley.

At the end of the camp, nine of the local-based players will be selected to join 14 overseas-based players for the final squad.
