WI Rugby team arrives in San Diego

The West Indies Rugby Team arrived in San Diego to participate in the International Rugby Board’s Seven World Series from February 9 to 10.



Prior to the World Series the team will be holding a series of training games with England, New Zealand and Canada.



The West Indies team has been drawn in Pool ‘B’ with Fiji, Samoa and Australia.



Two Jamaicans, Elroy Graham and Donald Walters, have been included in the 12-man team.



The team also includes two United Kingdom-based players in Bevon Armitage from Trinidad and Tobago and Barbadian Stefan Taricska.
