WI Under 19 defeat Sri Lanka
The West Indies carved out a four-wicket victory against Sri Lanka yesterday, in a warm-up game at the Selangor Turf Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Jamaican Andre Creary and Trinidadian Darren Bravo shared five wickets to restrict Sri Lanka for 174 off 47 overs.
Bravo finished with two wickets for three runs, while Creary had three for 20.
West Indies replied with 177 for six off 40.4 overs with Bravo undefeated on 43.
The West Indies will play its final warm-up game against Australia tomorrow in preparation for the International Cricket Council Under 19 World Cup, which bowls off on Sunday in Malaysia.
The Caribbean side will open its campaign against South Africa on Monday, February 18 in Group ‘B’, which includes India and Papua New Guinea.
