The Bar @ 23, located on Dominica Drive in New Kingston, was the perfect location for a fabulous event of libations - the official launch of the lucky seven.
J. Wray & Nephew has decided to introduce something new to Jamaica, celebrating cocktails in a unique way by featuring seven new mixes made with Wray & Nephew Overproof Rum. A mingle frenzy ensued as invited guests got better acquainted with the new flavours fused with the Jamaican rum. With a choice of creamy, sweet or tangy, many found home with the taste which best suited their palate.
The formal proceedings, hosted by Oral Tracey, saw the crowd emitting bouts of laughter for his many stories.
J. Wray & Nephew Brand Manager Pietro Gramegna soon took to the podium, thanking everyone for attending. He explained that the company wanted to explore new ways of experiencing Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum, and these seven cocktails were the result of hard work, dedication, passion, evolution, culture, uniqueness, and simplicity.
Among the tasty cocktails are Wray Daiquiri, Wray Punch, The Contender, Creamy Wray, Wraytastic, Ginger Wray, and Wrayito.
