People’s National Party Councillor for the Papine Division, Venesha Phillips says she narrowly escaped a gun attack a short while ago.



Phillips said she was in the vicinity of Elletson Flats in St Andrew when she was set upon by a gunman.



The councilor was not injured in the attack.



The police are now on the scene.
