Jamaica's sprint superstar Usain Bolt advance today's final of the men's 100m competition at the IAAF World Championships after finishing second in his semi-final.
Bolt, who was very slow out of the blocks, ended second in semi-final three in 9.98 seconds. The event was won by American Christian Coleman in 9.97 seconds.
Bolt's club-mate Yohan Blake, who is 2011 world 100m champion, also advance to the final, after winning semi-final two comfortably in 10.04. ahead of Great Britain's Reece Prescod in 10.05.
However, Jamaica's other competitor, Julian Forte, who achieved a personal best time of 9.99 in heats yesterday, failed to advance to the final after finishing fourth in semi-final one in 10.13.
The race was won by South Africa's Akani Simbine, in 10.05 ahead of American Justin Gatlin in 10.09.
The final will set for 3:45.
