Ardenne student wins Spelling Bee

The Gleaner's Children's Own 2013 Spelling Bee was held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Christian Allen of Ardenne High School in St Andrew, claimed top honours while Stephen Nelson, of Glenmuir High in Clarendon, placed second and champion girl Chaunte Blackwood, from Wolmer's Preparatory School in Kingston named the third-place finisher.
