Police probing death of child at Portmore daycare

The police in St Catherine are investigating the death of a child who became unresponsive at a daycare facility in Portmore.
The child has been identified by the police as one-year-old Kawahi Dressiki of Phoenix Park Village in Portmore.
The police reported that on the morning of Friday, July 10, the boy's father took him to a daycare facility in their gated community.
It is further reported that later that day, the man was contacted by personnel at the facility and informed that his son had become unresponsive and would be taken to the Spanish Town Hospital.
On arrival, the child was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to the police.
The Portmore Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the incident.
