Carol Crichton works on show at Olympia Gallery

An exhibition of paintings by Carol Crichton opened at The Olympia Gallery on Thursday evening with keynote address by Senator Tom Tavares-Finson, CD, QC, president of the Senate as well as chairman of the National Gallery of Jamaica.

The works on show include very recent and earlier pieces. The themes explore human and universal concerns and a dialogue with Jamaica.

In his address, Tavares-Finson outlined his vision for the arts in general and for the National Gallery. He also spoke highly of the works on show.

The exhibition continues until October 22.
