Focus on Jesus
When you wake and things look bleak
And the landlord knocks on your door like a freak
And the neighbours laugh and mock
You look in your closet and only see an old frock
Look up to the skies and focus on Jesus.
When you get your pay cheque
And you try all you can to work out a budget
And the bills are three months behind
You feel so stressed and all you want to do is unwind
Get down on your knees and focus on Jesus.
When your boss is nothing but terror
And all you make every day is only error
And everybody is just staring you in the face
They shake their heads and say you are a big disgrace
Stick your chest out, hold your head high and focus on Jesus.
