I am in love with poetry

You are beautiful to me.

Your presence is powerfully wonderful.

You have a special way with words that electrify my soul.

Your personality is hypnotising.

Your ideas are diverse and tantalising.

You stimulate my mind, body and spirit.

I think about you every day.

I read, write, smell, taste and feel you every so often.

I speak about you passionately.

I dream about you every night.

Your rhythm is always right.

You are a part of me.

I am a part of you.

Oh my love,

I am revealing you to the world.

I am so proud of you.

You add so much meaning and value to my life.

You complement me.

I love your gentle caress.

I am energised by your sensuous massages;

I scream at the sound of your name.

I love your sweet and succulent flavour;

I love your style.

You are so fulfilling.

You satisfy me in every way.

I am so free around you.

You make me so happy.

You make my visions real.

I am committed to you.

I love you endlessly.

You are glued to my lips like my favourite lip gloss.

I am in love with you, poetry.

God knows why he sent you into my life.

I feel like I can conquer the world with you.

I am confident and fearless with you by my side.

You are my best friend forever and you are

The love of my life.

Flea Love

Some flea ketch me on Sunday

And it reminded me of you

For that’s the way my darling

I want to be stuck on you

On my foot dem multiply

And I started to say aye

And that jus' seems to symbolise

How my love for you a bite

So I went to fetch flea powder

To see what it could do

But they still clung to my foot

Like paper stuck to glue

No matter how hard I was a try

These biting insects wouldn’t die

And that’s the way puttus

My love for you will never die.

So I tooks my hand so whoosh

To brush them off my foot

Like Jack and Jill dem fall fi choo

Like when ize fall in love with you

So every time yu see di dogs a scratch

Memba you and I are perfect match

Just like ticks love blood mi boo

That’s the same way I love you.
