Stocks Round Up | Ciboney, Palace Amusement and TransJamaican Highway USD lead advancers

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index continued its rally on Thursday, further reversing this week’s losses.

The slow, truncated trading session ended with an advance/decline ratio of 39/22

The JSE Combined Index advanced by 2,623.50 points or 0.66 per cent to close at 397,812.53

The JSE Main Market Index was up 2,694.71points or 0.68 per cent to close at 397,354.26 while the Junior Market Index advanced 13.54 points or 0.45 per cent to close at 2,996.49

The JSE USD Equities Index advanced 5.87 points or 2.87 per cent, closing at 210.27

Lasco Financial Services, up 7.81 per cent to close at $4.54

Losers

Eppley Caribbean Property Fund SCC down 13.25 per cent to close at $40.38
Stationery and Office Supplies down 13.09 per cent to close at $4.78
Salada down 7.96 per cent to close at $6.13
Caribbean Assurance Brokers, down 5.00 per cent closing at $1.90
Blue Power Group, down 4.28 per cent closing at $3.58

Market volume

Some 14.61 million units valued at over $49 million.

Volume leaders were TransJamaican Highway, followed by MailPac and Wigton.
