Stocks Round Up | Eppley 7.5% Preference Shares today's top winner, 138 Student Living leads decliners

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index closed Monday on a losing note, declining marginally.

The moderate trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 39/44.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 4,287.86 points or 1.00 per cent to close at 425,919.78.

The JSE Main Market Index was down 4,869.78 points or 1.13 per cent to close at 424,662.52 while the Junior Market Index advanced 20.53 points or 0.63 per cent to close at 3,264.46

The JSE USD Equities Index declined 3.26 points or 1.54 per cent, closing at 208.48.

Sagicor Select Funds -Manufacturing and Distribution up 6.52 per cent to close at $0.98

Blue Power up 4.93 per cent to close at $3.62
Key Insurance up 4.54 per cent to close at $6.45


138 Student Living, down 17.01 per cent to close at $4.39
SOS down 9.42 per cent closing at $5.67
Caribbean Cream down 8.87 per cent to close at $ 5.34
Guardian Holdings down 7.16 per cent to close at $899.58
Salada down 7.02 per cent closing at $8.74

Market volume

Some 17.7 million units valued at over $ 83 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were FESCO, followed by Sagicor Select Financial and Wigton.
